About the Project deliverables
D1.1 - Project and S&T Management Plan
This report serves as a comprehensive guide to all management procedures for the MOTIVATE XR project, aimed at benefiting all participants. It details essential procedures and guidelines for efficient project management and provides an overview of the project’s scope, partners, resources, and lifecycle planning. To support effective progress tracking, the document includes reporting and monitoring procedures, as well as an outline of the project governance structure and communication management plan. Additionally, it establishes Quality and Risk Management plans, highlighting tools and strategies to maintain quality standards and manage risks throughout the project.
D1.2 - IPR and Data Management Plan
This report presents the first Data Management Plan (DMP) for MOTIVATE XR, ensuring maximum project visibility and impact through publicly available, discoverable, and reusable results. It adheres to FAIR principles for data, safeguards Intellectual Property, and protects personal data under GDPR. The DMP, to be updated throughout the project, also details initial datasets, data management processes, and Open Science compliance.
D2.1 - Communication Kit V1
The first version of this report introduces the MOTIVATE XR Communication Plan which is a comprehensive and living document that outlines the tools, channels, and activities to be put in place throughout the project to ensure successful and consistent visual representation of the MOTIVATE XR, as well as its activities for successful dissemination of results.
D2.4 - Business Model
This report D2.4 presents the first version of the MOTIVATE XR Business Model, detailing our strategy to ensure project exploitation post-completion. Our initial approach focuses on three key steps: conducting thorough market analysis for optimal solution positioning, identifying key exploitable assets for target groups, and defining/evaluating viable business models. This model will be updated as the project progresses and key commercial results emerge, working in conjunction with the D2.9 Dissemination and Exploitation Plan.
D2.9 - Dissemination and Exploitation Plan V1
This report, D2.9, details MOTIVATE XR’s dissemination and exploitation strategy. Its goal is to maximise the impact of our world-leading XR collaborative tool suite for industrial operations. We outline pathways for exploiting Key Exploitable Results and ensuring their long-term sustainability, recognising the importance of strategic communication. This plan will be updated as the project progresses.
D2.10 - Dissemination and Exploitation Plan V2
This report, the second dissemination and exploitation plan for the MOTIVATE XR project, details progress from month 6 to 12. It outlines the communication activities carried out during this period, part of a continuous strategy that adapts as more information and results become available. The report also sets out plans for the next iteration, expanding on the preliminary exploitation methodology previously established, especially as Key Exploitable Results (KERs) and Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) become clearer.
D3.1 - SSH Framework V1
This report presents the societal, ethical, legal issues to consider for both the activities and the results of the project and after its termination. It is the result of the initial work within Task 3.1 and aims to obtain a picture of the challenges that must be anticipated and addressed in the formulation of the end-user requirements and the further work within WP3 “SSH and Industrial Frameworks & Co-design”. Focus is on providing an overview list of SEL issues raised by the use of XR and AI in the industry context and mapping stakeholders who may be affected by these issues.
D3.3 - Industrial User Requirements and Use-Case Scenarios
This report outlines the process and outcomes of a task aimed at defining, prioritising, and updating user requirements, as well as developing use-case scenarios for various categories of end-users, including authors, trainers, support teams, and technicians across different industrial sectors. The task involved exploring these user requirements to extract specific operational needs and define pilot scenarios, alongside an evaluation framework to assess the system’s efficiency and adaptability to diverse industrial contexts.
D3.5 - Functional Specifications and Cybersecure Architecture
This report D3.5 explains MOTIVATE XR’s methodology, specifically how user and system requirements inform the project’s overall specifications. The report structures these specifications into logical modules, making the document easy to navigate. This modular design represents the complete processing chain, divided into an authoring phase for creating XR experiences and an experiencing phase for playing them, clearly differentiating user roles.
D3.7 - UX Co-Design
This report marks the initial methodological contribution to MOTIVATE XR’s User Experience (UX), specifically defining co-design strategies for our XR applications. Its aim is to outline a consistent methodology, detailing the steps taken to ensure a high-quality UX aligned with project specifics, and to present the first results gathered during this foundational phase.
D4.1 - Authoring Tool Beta
This report, D4.1 – Authoring Tools Beta, focuses on the Authoring phase of the MOTIVATE XR platform, enabling users to create interactive XR experiences without extensive technical expertise. It details the progress and achievements in designing and developing the Beta Version, highlighting key accomplishments, identifying remaining challenges, and outlining the next steps toward the project’s Final Release.
D5.1 - Experiencing Tool Beta
This report, D5.1, details the beta implementation of the project’s XR Experiencing Tools. These are a core part of the MOTIVATE XR platform, allowing users to display interactive content from the Authoring Tools (WP4) and supporting immersive training and remote assistance. Work under WP5 focuses on five user-facing modules, building on existing platforms and new hardware. These tools are being extended for multi-user collaboration, AI-based object recognition, and gesture tracking, ensuring broad XR device compatibility. Closely linked to D4.1 (XR Authoring Tools), it covers the platform’s architecture, design, and implementation, emphasising scalability, interoperability, and real-world usability.
D6.1 - Continuous Integration Plan and Platform
This report presents the plans and tools deployed to ensure the continuous integration of the results of WP4 “MOTIVATE XR Authoring Tools” and WP5 “MOTIVATE XR Experiencing Tools” to form the MOTIVATE XR releases.
